Description
Fremling's field notebook for 1985-1989 includes original research notes and drawings, some professional/research travel mileage, and expenses for reimbursement. Notes are dated Feb 3, 1985-May 15, 1989, written in mostly pencil with some ink annotations. Some business cards and receipt filed loosely throughout. Multiple pages marked with unlabeled sticky notes. Pages are unnumbered. Some notes in a different handwriting; a few dates out of order. Subjects covered include fish trapping, duck counts, geese counts, UMRCC meetings, Lake Winona, Boller Lake dam and water levels, winter water and ice conditions, tree farms, land taxes, local plant life, plankton, mayfly emergences (H. bilineata, limbata). Also includes book titles, and various contact information.
