Description
Fremling's field notebook for 1981-1982 includes original research notes and drawings, some professional/research travel mileage, and expenses for reimbursement. Notes are dated Feb 23, 1981 - Dec 31, 1982, written in pencil with some ink annotations. One loose paper and business card included. Some pages marked with unlabeled sticky notes. Pages are unnumbered. Subjects covered include fish trapping, duck counts, winter temperatures and ice at local lakes, Lake Winona, Ziebart pit, Boller Lake levels, Boller Lake dam and aerators, SCUBA dives, UMRCC meetings, land taxes, timber thinning, mayfly emergences (H. bilineata), local historical society meetings and talks. Also includes various contact information, and a list of tree pruners hired in Brainerd.
