Description
Scene: Man on White Horse with Crown (drop number 79). The Winona Masonic Temple scenic drops were designed by Sosman and Landis of Chicago, procured by M.C. Lilley and Company of Columbus, Ohio, and installed in 1909 under the direction of Lilley's western representative, Bestor G. Brown of Wichita, Kansas. There were 98 hand-painted scenic drops creating 59 scenes. The stage platform, in which the scenic drops were installed, is approximately 51 by 28 feet.
