The Spring 2026 special issue of The Journal of Advancing Education Practice seeks to examine these challenges through research, reflection, and practice-based inquiry, while also highlighting innovative, responsive, and human-centered approaches to serving graduate students more effectively. This issue invites contributors to move beyond deficit-oriented narratives and instead interrogate institutional practices, policies, and cultures that shape the graduate student experience.
