Abstract
In this research, CdSe-OLA nanoparticles were synthesized and underwent a ligand exchange to MA, VA, and DMPS. Based on the results of characterization, it was found that DMPS was the most successful ligand. Solar cells consisting of CdSe-DMPS nanoparticles were constructed and analyzed against a solar cell constructed with CdSe-OLA where it was found that CdSe-DMPS nanoparticles did perform better than CdSe-OLA having a much larger photo-response.
