Abstract
This project was an attempt to synthesize ergosta-5, 22, 24(28)-trienol to help confirm the structure of an unknown sterol found in dried morel mushrooms i n previous research conducted by Dr. Nalli's lab. Unfortunately three attempts at the first step of the sy nthesis were al l unsuccessful and the project was aborted.
