Abstract

This project focused on determining trace metal concentrations, associations, and availability in natural wetland soils at Bullion Mine near Basin, Montana and evaluated baseline metal concentrations at the mine site. Sequential extraction techniques were used to determine these relationships. These results were compared to other soils at the site that are directly impacted by acid drainage.
