Abstract
This 2 page brochure promotes the preservation of the Berry Tavern in Shullsburg, Wisconsin. The site marks the old Chicago Stageroad and t he Berry Tavern. The stone marker in front of the building states the Berry Tavern was build by Fortunatus Berry in 1829. The brochure states it was "build in 1840...and is the last remanant of the once thriving lead mining community of Gratiot's Grove." It is situated in Shullsburg, Lafayette County, Wisconsin.
