This poster is for a concert performed in the WSU Recital Hall on September 20, 2023 by The Paper Clips Trombone Quartet. This quartet includes Ben Bussey, Lauren Husting, Chris Allen, and Brooklyn Audette. From the ensemble’s website: “The Paper Clips are a trombone quartet founded in 2019 and based in Minneapolis, MN. We are dedicated to connecting the threads of classical & contemporary music, bringing the best of American popular music to audiences of all ages.” The WSU performance featured music from the 20th and 21st centuries, “weaving together the trombone’s journey through music history with the enduring legacy of the Motown Records label on American popular music.”
