On April 20, 1998, Dr. Noam Chomsky was a speaker for the Winona State University (WSU) Lyceum Speaker Series. Chomsky's lecture was titled New Horizons in the Study of Language.

Dr. Chomsky is an American professor of linguistics and know as the "father of modern linguistics." He is known for his work as one of the founders of the field of cognitive science.
