Course Description

This course addresses important conceptual and practical issues of effective school counseling practice, with an emphasis on the critical importance of proactive, primary prevention applications that positively impact student development and success. Developmental guidance curriculum, individual and small group counseling, consultation, advocacy, and data-driven outcomes will be addressed, both in the classroom and in field-based learning experiences.
