Description
Set of 19 black and white photographs in envelope labeled "May Flys." Photographs are 3.5 x 5 in or 4 x 5 in. Images show mayfly emergence and various levels of mayfly development including nymphs, nests, subimagos, and adult/imago. Also shown: USCG Lantana (pusher/tug barge), the Mississippi River, and men covered with mayflies. Prints are unlabeled and mostly undated, though some have captions and are dated with develop/print date. Part of the Cal R. Fremling collection.
