Communication Studies Capstone Poster Presentations

Abstract

Students will present posters of projects they've worked on over two semesters. Students are working on a variety of interesting topics, such as how or when student-athletes communicate injuries to coaches or trainers, whether the pronouns on a resume influence the perceived hireability of a candidate, the relationship between identifying fake news and determining what is misinformation, how Hmong mothers and daughters communicate, how fathers and young adults daughters communicate, how social media posts of NBA and NFL teams in the finals are similar and different, and many others.
