Course Description

In this course, students will apply career development theories in practical applications to support k-12 and/or post-secondary students with achieving their post-secondary goals. This includes becoming more knowledgeable about college and career options, the world of work, and gaining experience in using career planning tools, advising, and financial aid strategies, and practicing methods of mitigating inequitable practices in college and career work. This course will be particularly useful for school counseling students, college counseling students, and students who plan to do college and career advising.
